I've been getting lost in books and magazines since I was a kid. I love the art of developing a story that leaves a profound impact on readers. Taking myself to task, I've independently published two anthologies, which have received state, national, and international awards.

ABOUT ME

Since 2003, I have been proud to support B2B and B2C organizations in attracting and converting target audiences through story and strategic marketing campaigns. I have also contributed to various publications through writing and editing—from books to academic journals to lifestyle magazines. At the core of everything I do is my love for storytelling, whether I'm conceptualizing and writing stories myself or fine tuning the works of others.

 

In 2015, I founded an independent publishing company, Timbre Press, through which I publish an ongoing anthology series, Stories of Music. These award-winning books feature inspiring stories by authors and artists from around the world whose lives have been changed by music. You can learn more about this project at storiesofmusic.com.

When I'm not supporting my clients, I enjoy writing music, poetry, and creative nonfiction; listening to live music around the Denver/Boulder area; gazing at the moon and stars; and spending quality time with my husband, RJ, and our son, Asher. Now settled in Denver, I have previously lived in Austin and New York City, and I grew up in Kansas City with two brothers, four sisters, and musical parents who instilled in all of us a deep passion for song.
